From all day camps and events, to pool-time fun in the evening, Fontana has an activity planned nearly every day of the week.

State Steals Money from Local Agencies
On May 4, 2010, Fontana was dealt a devastating blow when Sacramento Superior Court Judge Lloyd Connelly decided to allow the state to raid $2.05 billion in local redevelopment funds from cities across California in order to pay state obligations. On May 10, 2010, the effects of that decision became a reality when the Fontana Redevelopment Agency (RDA) was forced to hand over $33 million.

Fontana Families Invited to Celebrate Independence Day
Summer is officially here and families are getting ready to celebrate the Fourth of July. In Fontana, residents are invited to attend a safe, family-friendly event packed with activities and entertainment at the Auto Club Speedway. Tickets are on sale beginning June 1, 2010, at all Fontana community centers. Tickets are $7 for residents and children under age 12 can attend free.
