Kaboom Play Day
In conjunction with “Kaboom!” Play Days, the City of Fontana is hosting a “Play Day-Picnic Fun at the Park” event on Saturday September 18, 2010 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This family oriented play day will be held at Veterans Park located at 17255 Merrill Avenue in Fontana.

Artist Bill Coxon takes Fontana to bold new worlds
Visit the Art Depot Gallery and experience “Out There” by Bill Coxon. Coxon has been working on this galactic themed art that is comprised of mixed-medium acrylic for over 6 years. Many pieces incorporate ocean and space, something Coxon explains as “Swimming through nebulas.”

Cruise On Down The Road
Spring Street in Downtown Fontana will be in full gear during the September 3 Cruise Night from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Attendees can roll or stroll along Spring Street, just south of the Art Depot Gallery, to view automotive masterpieces, dance the night away to live music performed by Chico.

Fusion Friday: Fusing Fun & Art
Fusion Fridays are held the first Friday of each month from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Art Depot Gallery. At the Gallery, participants will enjoy music, entertainment and live art demonstrations. They may also view the current pieces and exhibits on display at the Gallery.

4th Annual Senior Talent Showcase
Singers, dancers, hypnotists, performers of any kind can sign up for the annual Senior Talent Show, a non-competitive talent showcase for adults 55 and older. Applications are due no later than Friday September 10.

Fontana’s Tiny Tots Program
Parents can now register for Tiny Tot classes available at the Cypress, Don Day, Heritage and Jessie Turner centers.

New Tiny Tot Program at Cypress Center
The Cypress Center is the newest location and site for Fontana’s Tiny Tots program. The Center, which was a full-service senior center less than six months ago, has been renovated and converted into a full-service neighborhood center.

Fontana Arts Festival 2010
An Evening of Art and Music at the second annual Fontana Arts Festival. July 22, 2010 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m at the Miller Park Amphitheatre. Enjoy live art demonstrations, art workshops, food, shopping and a live performances.
